Lisa and Robb got engaged!

June 27th, 2010

We decided to take these photographs in the Short North area. This was the place where Robb proposed Lisa in a cold winter night. During this photo shoot we were lucky that we had captured a lot of pictures before the heavy rain started that night and we had to run to our car since none of us brought an umbrella. It was a fun moment!

New location and weather for engagement shots

April 3rd, 2010

I always try to do something new in my life. From travelling to places I’ve never been before to tasting food that I normally wouldn’t eat. The results are not always something you wanted them to be, but, the experience is what matters to me the most.

It is no different than my photography. This time, I took an engagement photos at a place I’ve never been before - waterfall (and a dam) on scioto river one day after the heavy snow coming down to Columbus in early February this year. While most people were busy shoveling their driveways on that day, I decided to take engagement shots of Michelle and Reinard.

The result? I fell down a few times and dropped my flash unit in the snow. Luckily, it is still working fine right now. Hey, it is all about experience, right? Now you may be wondering about the results of the shot. I let you be the judge. See the images below.
