BLACK AND WHITE SPIDER AWARDS HONORS PHOTOGRAPHER RESTU KRESNADI FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

LONDON (08/20/2011) - Photographer Restu Kresnadi of The United States of America was presented with the 6th Annual Black and White Spider Awards Nominee title in the category of Still Life at a prestigious Nomination & Winners PhotoShow watched by 40,000 online viewers who logged on live from 154 countries to see the climax of the industry’s most important event for black and white photography.

Thousands of images were received from 73 countries worldwide. The awards international Jury included captains of the industry from Sotheby’s, Magnum Photos, The Armory Show, Fratelli Alinari to Tate and Phillips de Pury & Company in London who honored Spider Fellows with 190 coveted title awards in 27 categories. The judges reviewed the entries online for eight weeks before making their final nominations. Restu Kresnadi’s “Ring and Dress,” an exceptional image entered in the Still Life category, was honored by nomination of the Jury.

Halloween 2010

The whole family members were looking forward to visiting the small beautiful pumpkin patch, not too far from where we live in Galena, Ohio. It is owned by Acorn wholesale nursery and only opens for the public during harvest season. The kids had too much fun playing in the corn maze, decorating their own pumpkins, and enjoying their fresh and sweet apple cider.

Happy Birthday Mariska! Time flies so fast that Mariska turned to one.

The flavors included strawberry, green tea, and grape cakes with vanilla buttercream and chocolate ganache. Sculpted Strawberry Shortcake’s house was chocolate brownie.

Militza and David Wedding

I first photographed Militza and David for their engagement photos. They are a very sweet couple with very nice families. After their long distance relationship, they finally got married and can live together as a family. I am very blessed as their wedding photographer to document such important event in their lives.

Khyati and Jordan - Wedding

It was over 100 degree outside, but the wedding of Khyati and Jordan was still going strong. The guests and the groomsmen were enthusiastic and they were dancing during the procession of the groom despite the high temperature. This mix of traditional Indian and Jewish wedding really shows how wedding should be celebrated. Lots of singing and dancing. It was really fun, I really had a blast!
